The project included several design changes mid construction which led to a tight schedule and challenging effort by our site team with peak manpower of 100+ Electricians
 

Project Overview


    • The Ragon Institute, an MGH, MIT, and Harvard-affiliated research center for immune system diseases, is a new research facility and lab space building.
    • The facility will be approximately 50% wet laboratory and 50% office pace. The building includes three floors of BSL2/BSL2+ labs, one floor of BSL3 labs, a vivarium, procedure spaces, issue culture rooms, and community circulation spaces, and a two-level underground parking garage.
    • Electric Distribution- 13.8 1200A 15kv Eyersource gear, 2- 1.25MVA (2000a) generators, 4000a 480v normal power switchgear line-ups,125 distribution/branch panelboards installed, 32 Transformers installed, Dual rooftop generators.

    • Lighting — The installation of 4175 light fixtures with a Lutron lighting control system as well as landscape and deck lighting.
